Caoimhe Ni Dhonaill

Caoimhe joined the City of Ely Council in May 2023 as a representative for Ely North ward. She says:

My name is pronounced ‘Kweeva’, I was born in Dublin but settled in the UK in 2014. I’ve lived in Ely for over four years and I love it! I’ve bought my first home here. I think it is very important that a Councillor represents the needs of the community to the Council, not the other way around.

I am determined to help make Ely be the best it can be and am part of Council committees including Tourism & Town Centre and the North of Ely Hub Community Group.
