Mark Hucker

Mark was co-opted as a Councillor to the West Ward in September 2025. He moved to Ely with his wife and young family in 1992. Before retiring, Mark worked in the public sector for various organisations including the Local Government Association, the Audit Commission, the Legal Aid Board and the Civil Service. He brings a wealth of experience in the way local government functions and has a background in strategic and business planning, financial management, training and facilitation. Mark will serve on the Personnel, Finance & Governance Committee and the Climate & Environment Committee.
